Actually, is that question right? Shouldn't it read "you know how to help your child if HE is choking..." and shouldn't it continue on in the singular?
Exactly. It's the pronoun/antecedent disagreement I was talking about. I'm making fun of a public service announcement about drug abuse that has this grammar problem.
